Local 953 Ice Fishing Derby Update 02.05.24

ANNOUNCEMENT: Due to concerns regarding the safety of the ice with large groups of people, and abnormally warm weather, we WILL NOT be holding the fishing portion of the IBEW Local 953 Ice Fishing Derby.HOWEVER: we will still be holding our usual festivities- including charcoal chicken, beer, and raffle prizes at the Pokegama Cantina in Chetek, Wisconsin in the parking lot.NEW SCHEDULE:

- 12:00 p.m. Charcoal Chicken Lunch (Until Gone)

- 3:00 p.m. Gun Raffle, 50/50 Raffle, Door Prizes

Despite the weather, we hope that you and yours will be able to make it to this fun day of Solidarity and camaraderie. While this decision did not come lightly, we believe it is important to keep our members, their families, and our first responders safe during this time.
