Summer is finally here and we at Local 953 hope you are having a fun but safe one.

As you have noticed, it is an election year and the media is full of candidates and their promises. As most of us get tired of their rhetoric, we still know it is important to vote. Get to know your candidates well, not only are your personal issues important, but how you make your living, as well. Make sure your candidate is labor friendly and cares about insurance and retirement issues. Local 953 Political Registrar Chad Bilderback has information on the federal and state levels within this newsletter to help you on what is current.
