IBEW Local 953 awards five $500 scholarships to children of our members.

To apply simply, print and complete the scholarship application form and return it to us with a 500 word essay on: What Would I Do to Organize or Promote more People to Join Unions?

The scholarships awarded will be randomly drawn by the Executive Board at the annual meeting. Winners will be notified by mail.

The essay is only an obligation to apply for the scholarship.

Throughout the year, the essays will be published in the IBEW Local 953's newsletter.

The application form and essay must be completed and returned to the Local 953 office by:
